The RFME Enduro Junior Team continues to rely on GRO for its participation in the EnduroGP world championship

Double podium for Mireia Badia in the Women's Championship

This weekend saw the start of the EnduroGP World Championship in Lalín (Pontevedra), an event in which the National Enduro Team made its debut.

Once again, the RFME has entrusted GRO to supply the lubricants that the whole team will use in the various rounds of the World Championship.

The novelty of the team lies in the new coach: Cristóbal Guerrero. “I am very motivated for my first year as coach, as are all the members of the team. The riders we are bringing have a huge potential and they have shown it to me from the first training sessions to this first race. Alejandro Navarro and Bernat Cortés are the most experienced riders and this will be their last year in the Junior category. Albert Fontova and Lluis Gonfaus have joined the team and are making their World Championship debut in the very tight 125 class where they will learn a lot. In the Women’s category we have Mireia Badia who is a clear candidate for the title”.

The current Spanish Enduro champion and the only female member of the RFME Enduro Junior Team-GRO, Mireia Badia, has been brilliant all weekend, with two second places and leaving this first round in second place in the championship. Among the boys, the fantastic performance of Albert Fontova, who signed two fourth places in the Youth category and is already third in the provisional.
