EcoVadis Silver Medal for GRO for its good sustainability practices
GRO has been awarded the silver medal by EcoVadis, an organisation that evaluates the social, environmental (purchasing, waste management, operational control, efficiency improvement…) and good governance practices of companies around the world.
Our commitment to sustainability, as set out in GRO’s company policy, has led us to be audited by EcoVadis with the aim of contributing to continuous improvement and sustainable development.
The first EcoVadis evaluation of GRO has resulted in a score of 62 points, which ranks us among the 15% of the companies evaluated with the best score, highlighting the good performance in the areas of environment and sustainable procurement where GRO rises to the ranking of the top 10% of the best companies in the sector.
The EcoVadis methodology is based on the evaluation of 4 pillars (environment, labour and human rights and sustainable procurement) through 21 sustainability criteria, in line with leading standards such as Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000 and is supervised by a scientific committee.
